Cannon’s Director of Innovation, Jeff Flint, was honored to serve as a judge at the MedTech Innovators’ 2024 West Coast Pitch Event. As a judge, Jeff had a front-row seat to witness the future of MedTech and provide useful feedback to competitors.
The MTI Innovator Program accelerates MedTech innovations by providing early- to mid-stage medtech companies with an opportunity to pitch their unique ideas to a panel of 150 judges. Judges include investors, providers, and senior executives from leading industry partners (like our own Jeff Flint). Presenters received feedback from the judges and competed to win a spot in the esteemed MedTech Innovator cohort1.
A few standouts from the event included:
- Persperion Diagnostics – their test strips provide an accurate, accessible and affordable touch-based non-invasive sweat biosensing solution for personal health management2.
- Senseer Health – develops wirelessly controlled microsensors that can be combined with catheters, shunts and other implantables to make the devices smart3.
- Next Life Sciences – created PlanA, the first non-hormonal, long-lasting, and reversible male contraceptive, empowering men and their partners to family plan4.
