MedTech Innovator continued its road tour with a stop in Baltimore, MD. There the MedTech Innovator East pitch event featured two of MedTech Innovator’s Accelerator programs: MedTech Innovator and BioTools Innovator.

Each offers a unique opportunity for start up companies in the life science ecosystem to pitch their ideas and receive feedback from experienced subject matter experts. Johnson & Johnson, Nissan Chemical Corporation, and Olympus were just a few of the partners participating.

 CQGs Director of Quality East, Josh Tucker was there serving as a judge. In this role Josh met multiple start-ups that presented their business pitch to a panel of judges. The judges were able to assess the pros and cons of their pitch and whether they’d be a good fit for the MedTech Innovator program.

A lucky few chosen from participants will get the opportunity to be considered for MedTech Innovator’s Plastic Surgery Track cohort.

After the event Josh reflected, “It was a great opportunity to participate in an event with other leading players in the medtech innovation ecosystem and review, network, and provide insight to companies that have the potential to transform the healthcare system in innovative ways.”
